Edmond moves to Stage Two water restrictions effective immediately amid heat, dry spell

EDMOND, OKLA (KOKH) — The Edmond City Manager has implemented Stage Two of a five-stage Water Conservation Plan that will go into effect immediately.

Due to extreme temperatures and a shortage of rain, water reserves are being assessed to make sure they are adequate for firefighters to handle fire-related emergencies.

In Stage Two, residents are required to move to a two-day-a-week lawn watering schedule. This will include one weekday and one weekend day for lawn watering.

The schedule is based on the last digit of the home or business address.
