The Kennedy Center tarp is here to stay for the foreseeable future.
The center’s leaders said Tuesday that they have kept a tarp-covered scaffolding up for more than two months so that crews can conduct water testing and make structural repairs to the front portico’s roof overhang. The scaffolding was originally erected on June 12 to comply with a federal judge’s order that President Donald Trump’s name be removed from the center’s facade.
