Monday night presents a two-game WNBA slate. The Lynx are hosting the Valkyries, and the Sparks are hosting the Dream. Below, I have featured two of my favorite DFS targets on DraftKings for this slate.

F, Angel Reese, Atlanta Dream at Los Angeles Sparks, $11,700
Reese is on a tear, and she shouldn’t slow down against the Sparks. Reese has topped 40 FPTS in six straight games. In her two matchups with Los Angeles this season, Reese has generated 48.8 and 50.5 FPTS.
The Sparks rank third in pace, 13th in defensive rating and 13th in opponent rebounds per game (35.2), making this an incredible matchup for a double-double machine like Reese.
The Dream carries a slate-high 96.5-point implied total on DraftKings Sportsbook. Since the All-Star break, Reese is shooting 47.2% from the field and leading the Dream with an elite 1.4 FPTS per minute. With Olivia Miles and Napheesa Collier in a tough matchup with the Valkyries and their league-best defense, the LSU product is the clear No.1 play for this short slate.
G, Erica Wheeler, Los Angeles Sparks vs. Atlanta Dream, $6,200
While this is a subpar matchup against the Dream — who rank fourth in defensive rating — Wheeler is way underpriced at only $6,200 and needs to be rostered. The veteran was just priced up to $8,000 on DraftKings a few weeks ago, and she is averaging 21.2 FPTS per game this season.
Wheeler is scoring 0.8 FPTS per minute while shooting 39.6% from the field and handling a 17.7% usage rate. While Wheeler was just held to 8.5 FPTS against the Dream last week, she only saw 17 minutes in that contest, as she was coming off a one-game absence due to an ankle injury. In her first matchup of the season against Atlanta last month, it was a completely different story: Wheeler was terrific with 31.2 FPTS in 32 minutes.
Wheeler is on the heels of a 21-FPTS outing in 25 minutes against the Sun on Saturday, and she is an awesome bargain play on Monday who should score at least 20 FPTS. Also, note that Rae Burrell (illness) was downgraded to questionable this afternoon. If she sits, Wheeler becomes an even stronger target.
With Burrell off the court this season, Wheeler’s production increases to 1.1 FPTS per minute, thanks to her assist rate rising 16 percentage points to a huge 43.5%.
