A serious crash shut down a road in Durham early Tuesday morning.
Durham police arrived at crash in a neighborhood on Garrett Road near Durham-Chapel Hill Boulevard just before 2 a.m.
The WRAL Breaking News Tracker arrived to find a white car badly damaged in the front of a person’s yard. The car’s front end was crushed, and the airbags were deployed. The driver’s condition is unknown.
Officers blocked a large portion of the intersection at Landsbury Drive to conduct their investigation.
It’s unclear what led up to the incident.
