Pitt-Greenville Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help locating a man wanted by the Pitt County Sheriff’s Office.
According to a wanted poster from Pitt-Greenville Crime Stoppers, Aaron Denzel Payton, 35, is wanted on felony breaking or entering and felony larceny after breaking or entering charges. The poster lists the case number as 2026-02878.
Crime Stoppers said Payton has been wanted since February 2026, but deputies have been unable to locate him. His whereabouts remain unknown.

Crime Stoppers said tipsters can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward.
The charges are allegations, and Payton is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
