Verizon is giving its customers a chance to watch every out-of-market Sunday afternoon NFL game this season without paying the usual price for the NFL Sunday Ticket.
As part of a week-long NFL promotion through Verizon Shine, Verizon will offer NFL Sunday Ticket from YouTube for free on Friday, September 4. The offer covers the 2026 NFL regular season and is available through the My Verizon app.
NFL Sunday Ticket normally costs hundreds of dollars for the season, making this one of the more valuable giveaways in Verizon’s NFL promotion. Verizon says the 2026 offer is worth up to $480.
How to Get Free NFL Sunday Ticket From Verizon
The NFL Sunday Ticket giveaway will be available through Verizon Shine in the My Verizon app on September 4. The promotion is aimed at its customers, but there are eligibility requirements for the ongoing NFL Sunday Ticket benefit. Select wireless and home internet plans qualify for the free subscription.
Here’s how to qualify:
Purchase an eligible 5G phone and activate a new smartphone line on an Unlimited Ultimate or Unlimited Plus plan.
Upgrade an existing line to an Unlimited Ultimate or Unlimited Plus plan after the purchase of an eligible 5G phone.
Switch your home internet connection to our 100% fiber-optic Fios Home Internet plans or select premium Verizon Home Internet options (including 5G Home Ultimate or Verizon Home Internet Lite Extra).
Switch your home connection to a premium Frontier Fiber internet tier (1G, 2G, 5G, or 7G).
Once eligible customers claim the offer, NFL Sunday Ticket will let them watch out-of-market Sunday afternoon games during the 2026 regular season. It does not include digital-only games or commercial viewing.
The offer comes just days before the 2026 NFL season gets underway on September 9, making Friday’s drop particularly useful for football fans who haven’t picked up Sunday Ticket yet.
