Middle East crude oil exports in August were 39% below their January-February 2026 baseline of 18.5 million barrels per day, TankerTrackers reported Saturday in a post on X.

The current export deficit was 7.2 million barrels per day, compared with 12.4 million in May, when exports were 67% below the baseline, according to the post.

The figures cover Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, the United Arab Emirates and Qatar.

The shipping monitoring service said exports from most of those countries may recover in the coming months, but Iran’s exports, which had a baseline of 1.68 million barrels per day, may remain at zero for the foreseeable future depending on any agreement.
