(WJAR) — U.S. Senator Jack Reed is set to discuss the effort to reverse the Trump administration’s cuts to the nation’s health care system.
He will discuss these on Tuesday at the CAP Warwick Health Center.
Reed is calling on the administration to reinstate the ACA tax credits for working families and to take on what his office described as health monopolies through consolidation.
He is also improving price transparency and innovations throughout the industry.
Rheed cites a URI study that says one in three Rhode Islanders will put off seeking medical treatment because of the cost.
