MEDFORD, Ore. – North Medford High School is opening a new student art gallery and inviting the community to celebrate.
The grand opening happens Sept. 23 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the school library. Students, staff, families, local artists and supporters of the arts are all invited to attend.
The gallery will showcase a variety of student artwork. Featured pieces include a sculpture by recent graduate Lucca McCoy and work by student artist Evelyn Crook.
The evening includes a silent auction with artwork by local artists and appetizers. Guests can explore the new gallery and see what student artists have created. Money raised from the event supports the student art gallery.
“We are excited to have a dedicated space to showcase the incredible work our students are creating,” Principal Allen Barber said. “There is a lot of talent at North Medford, and this gallery gives our students an opportunity to share that work with our school and community.”
The event is free and open to the public.
