CLEARFIELD – One man has been jailed after allegedly breaking into a Clearfield business.
Just after midnight on Monday police responded to Starz Athletics after receiving a call from the owner stating a video camera showed a shirtless man inside the store.
Once on scene police found the man, identified as 22 year-old Joseph McQuade and listed as homeless, who claimed he believed the building was abandoned.
Police say they found a set of car keys on McQuade, which he claimed he found in the store and intended to give them to their owner.
McQuade is now at the Clearfield County Jail where he faces burglary and criminal trespass charges.
