Police: One injured in isolated Fayetteville shooting
One person was injured in an isolated shooting near North Heritage Avenue late Friday, according to the Fayetteville Police Department.

One person was injured in a shooting near the 1200 block of North Heritage Avenue late Friday, according to the Fayetteville Police Department.
Police said officers received a report of a possible shooting at about 11:37 p.m. The injured person was taken to a hospital for treatment.
The department’s public information officer said the shooting was an isolated incident involving two parties. Police do not believe there is a danger to the public.
Police did not provide additional information, and the investigation remains active.
