U-C5300 via Aitech
CHATSWORTH, California. Aitech introduced the 3U VPX C530 and as well as the U-C5300 general-purpose graphics processing unit (GPGPU) boards for artificial intelligence (AI) processing in defense and aerospace systems, the company announced in a statement. The UC-5300 is aligned with the Sensor Open Systems Architecture, or SOSA, Technical Standard.
The boards provide up to 9,728 CUDA cores for parallel processing, 304 Tensor Cores for AI inference, and 76 ray-tracing cores for rendering, the company says. They deliver up to 35.8 TFLOPS of FP32 compute performance and 576 GB/s of memory bandwidth for applications including video analytics, image processing, object detection, classification, sensor fusion, and other edge-AI workloads, according to the statement.
Both boards support OpenVPX architectures, PCIe Gen4 connectivity, CUDA software tools, and Windows and Linux operating systems, the company says. The U-C5300 is designed to align with the SOSA Technical Standard for open-architecture defense programs. Aitech says the C530 and U-C5300 are now available for mission development.
