CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — NBA rookie and Chattanooga native Ace Bailey returned home over the weekend to host his first basketball camp at East Hamilton High School.
The camp gave local high school players a chance to get on the court with Bailey, who says he sees himself in many of the young athletes taking part.
“I was once one of these kids,” Bailey told us.
Bailey says returning to Chattanooga to give back was “a blessing,” especially after the community gave so much to him growing up.
At just 20 years old, Bailey is already inspiring a new generation of local players.
He says this first hometown camp will not be his last.
