— The Detroit Lakes girls tennis team traveled south to take on Central Lakes Conference rival Fergus Falls on September 17.
The Lakers (8-6) fell to the Otters, 4-3, in a very competitive meet.
No. 2 singles Audrey Hochgraber defeated Fergus Falls’ Signe Millard, 6-1, 6-4. No. 3 singles Ava Fradenburgh defeated Claire Duffy, 6-0, 6-0.
No. 3 doubles team of Georgina Walters and Kylie Stalley defeated Fia Nasri and Lucy Flugstad, 6-1, 6-3.
Detroit Lakes is back at home to take on Sartell on Tuesday, Sept. 22.
