A Jackson bar is getting a surprise spotlight in Drake’s latest visual project.

Portions of the rapper’s new “FOMO” project were filmed inside M Bar in Jackson, giving the Mississippi venue a brief appearance in the project.

“FOMO,” short for “Fear of Missing Out,” premiered this week as a roughly hourlong film featuring new music, music videos and appearances from several celebrities. The project was billed by Drake as a “not-so-short film.”

Video from inside M Bar shows the Jackson nightlife spot featured in the project.

The film includes previously released songs, unreleased music and appearances from Drake’s mother, Kevin Durant, Winnie Harlow, Sexyy Red and others. Drake also used the project to announce plans for a world tour in 2027.

The appearance puts Jackson in the middle of Drake’s latest release and gives M Bar an unexpected connection to one of music’s biggest stars.
