Flood Watch continues after rain, storms move through Greater Cincinnati

Sabrina BatesCINCINNATI —

Storms are pushing through the Greater Cincinnati region, prompting a flood watch and even a tornado warning to be issued for some counties.

A tornado warning was briefly issued for Butler and Warren counties between 7:54 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. on Sunday night. It has since expired.

For the remainder of Sunday evening, scattered storms are still expected — some of which could bring heavy rain — especially for residents who live to the north of Cincinnati.

As a result, a flood watch remains in effect by the National Weather Service for all of southwest Ohio, as well as portions of southeast Indiana.
