Granite Staters may be eligible for drug overcharge compensation
MANCHESTER, N.H. —
Granite Staters may be eligible for compensation related to over-inflated generic drug prices, according to the New Hampshire attorney general.
Preliminary approval of a multistate plan to distribute millions of dollars in settlement funds obtained from generic drug manufacturers was granted by the Connecticut U.S. District Court this month.
The settlements were reached with companies including Glenmark, Lannett, Bausch, Apotex, Heritage, and Heritage’s parent company, Emcure, totaling approximately $96.5 million.
People who bought any of the drugs on the list of medications from 2009 to 2019 could be eligible to get money back, according to a news release.
