Red Bull has announced it has extended the contract of Isack Hadjar, keeping him at the team for the 2027 F1 campaign.
Hadjar joined Red Bull this year after an impressive rookie season in 2025 which peaked at the Dutch Grand Prix, where he bagged his maiden podium.
The Frenchman was called up to replace Yuki Tsunoda as the sport underwent a significant regulation shift this year.
Although Red Bull has slipped down the pecking order, Hadjar has impressed with his performances, scoring a consistent run of top-six finishes this season.
At the Monaco Grand Prix, he bagged third place and his first podium for the Milton Keynes-based squad – although the final result was only confirmed months after the fact due to an appeal process involving multiple teams.
Hadjar’s F1 season took an unwelcome turn during the summer break when he suffered a wrist injury.
It subsequently ruled him out of the following three races, with Liam Lawson called up from Racing Bulls to replace him.
However, just a couple of days after Red Bull confirmed his return from injury, it announced that the 21-year-old will remain at the team next year.
Hadjar will once again line-up alongside Max Verstappen, whose own future had major question marks earlier this year amid his criticism of the sport’s direction.
The four-time champion ultimately opted to extend his stay at Red Bull, penning a new deal until the end of the 2030 season.
