Woman crashes stolen vehicle into York County house during police chase, troopers say
FAIRVIEW TOWNSHIP, Pa. —
A woman driving a stolen vehicle crashed into a York County home during a police chase early Wednesday, according to Pennsylvania State Police.

Troopers said they received an alert about a stolen license plate on a dark blue Hyundai sedan on Interstate 581 in Cumberland County at 12:17 a.m.
When a trooper attempted to conduct a traffic stop, police said the driver fled south on Interstate 83 before turning onto Fishing Creek Road.
Vehicle crashes into house
According to investigators, the Hyundai left the road and crashed into a home at the intersection of Fishing Creek and Lewisberry roads in Fairview Township.
The home sustained extensive damage but was deemed structurally safe by the fire department, according to investigators. Troopers said no one was injured during the incident.
Police said the Hyundai’s vehicle identification number showed that it was reported stolen to the Lower Paxton Township Police Department.
Driver charged
The driver was then taken into custody at the scene. Authorities identified her as Candyce Bond, 22, of Harrisburg.

Fleeing or attempting to elude police Receiving stolen property Criminal mischief Recklessly endangering another person Summary traffic violations
