Tim Tebow has paused his relationship with Life Surge after Pablo Torre revealed the Christian organization may be operating as a scam.
In a new episode of Pablo Torre Finds Out released this week, the investigative reporter detailed Tebow’s relationship with Life Surge and shared several examples of the organization scamming people out of thousands of dollars. Tebow’s connection with Life Surge is as a speaker contracted to appear at dozens of events in recent years, earning between $50,000 and $100,000 per engagement.
Friday afternoon, Tebow was in Gainesville with Paul Finebaum ahead of Florida’s matchup with Ole Miss this weekend. And prior to going on Finebaum’s show, reporters asked Tebow about the allegations unearthed by Torre.

“I think the allegations are extremely, extremely serious,” Tebow acknowledged. “And it’s something that we take very serious. For us, we’re having our team do an investigation, but also pausing our relationship til we can learn more about the facts to be able to understand more.”
When asked whether he knew about the allegations, Tebow was careful with his response before reiterating they’re investigating the claims.
“Honestly, I was at an anti-human trafficking conference yesterday, and the team shared with me when we were leaving as we were flying to Alabama for an event,” Tebow said. “Kind of caught off guard with some of it, and that’s why we’re trying to understand more of the facts to really learn it.”
According to Torres’s report, attendees are typically charged around $30 to appear at one of Tebow’s speaking engagements for Life Surge. But many of their events are designed to convince people to sign up for the Christian organization’s classes on how to make money in real estate and the stock market. Those courses can cost as much as $50,000. To help with the cost, Life Surge reportedly provided third-party brokers to help attendees apply for credit cards at temporary 0% interest rates, with some people even encouraged to take out lines of credit on their homes and retirement accounts.
While Tebow claims he was “caught off guard” by this week’s unflattering report on Life Surge, Torre stated he attempted to contact the former NFL quarterback several times before releasing his findings. But Tebow never offered a response.
