We can also publicly confirm that MP1st is reviewing The Witcher 3 Remastered, and we’re hoping that we’ll have it up in time for the embargo lift. I mean, the game is massive after all.

While the patch notes aren’t available yet, here’s a rundown of what to expect from the download:

Upgrade for Free and Unlock Two Expansions

Players who own The Witcher 3 on qualifying platforms can upgrade to the Remastered version for free.

All players who own the base game receive Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine at no additional cost.

Upgraded Visuals and Performance
Improved Combat
Reimagined Skill System
And Much, Much More

Also of note, CD Projekt RED released a game update for The Witcher 3 last month across all platforms, and this upgrades the base game to the Complete Edition, which means the two major expansions, Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine, will be free for everyone.

It will also bring mods to the console version of The Witcher 3, though don’t expect every PC mod to be available.

Aside from the remastered upgrade, CD Projekt RED also has Songs of the Past in development as The Witcher 3’s last story expansion, and it will tie the game to The Witcher 4, which is targeting a 2028 release.
