The Timberwolves are returning to WCCO radio as their flagship station, the team announced Tuesday.
All games will be aired locally on 830 AM, while games will be shared statewide and throughout the Upper Midwest via a renewed partnership with Learfield IMG College to expand reach with affiliate partners. Games can also be streamed online at audacy.com/wccoradio
Minnesota spent the previous three seasons in a partnership with iHeart Radio, which produced a Timberwolves app channel that aired every game. But the setup frequently left the Wolves off the actual airwaves.
WCCO was the Timberwolves’ previous radio home from 2011-12 through the 2022-23 campaign. Alan Horton remains as the team’s radio play by play voice.
