CHARLESTON, SC (WFXR) — Basketball outdoors……….That’s what the Virginia Cavaliers men’s basketball team took part in last weekend in Charleston, South Carolina. As part of the LINKU Invitational, Virginia met Vanderbilt on an outdoor court at Credit One Stadium in Charleston. On a sunny Sunday afternoon, about half of the court remained in the shade for most of the game, which Vanderbilt coached by Salem native and UVA masters degree grad Mark Byington won 82-73.
