During LOUPE Americas, GEW officially launched its groundbreaking EOS power and control platform. EOS replaces GEW’s renowned RHINO Power infrastructure, bringing a broad range of production advantages for OEM customers and end users.
With EOS, new reporting features, such as hour and reflector counters, come as standard, along with enhanced remote monitoring functionality.
Amir Dekel, vice president of sales at GEW, joined L&NW to explain the many benefits of this new product.
Meanwhile, Grand Rapids Label is continuously investing in new technology, which has led to business success for more than 142 years. The newest installation is the Durst Tau G3 Peak, which was recently added to the company’s production floor. The UV inkjet digital label press will help customers with a wide range of needs.
Grand Rapids Label first unveiled this addition ahead at LOUPE Americas 2026. The press will provide GRLabel with a wide range of advantages. For example, increased durability is a key feature. Using photopolymerization – a chemical cross linked reaction – UV ink is transformed from liquid to solid, allowing for maximum resistance from abrasion, chemicals, and outdoor exposures, just to name a few.
