Aces vs Valkyries Game 2 preview

The Aces will be looking to bounce back after their Sunday loss and before they return home at the Michelob Ultra Arena for Game 3 on Wednesday.

Valkyries’ Gabby Williams posted 25 points in Game 1, while Golden States’ defense held the Aces to their lowest point total of the season.

After Game 1, Aces head coach Becky Hammon said “We played like ass and only lost by 10. Dissect that however you want.”

Notably, Vegas was without Stephanie Talbot (leg) and then lost Jewell Loyd (leg) in the third quarter. However, as of Tuesday morning, both Talbot and Loyd are not listed on Vegas’ injury report. If the two return to play on Wednesday night, that could be a huge boost to both sides of the court for the Aces.
