A new potential suitor for Marvin Harrison Jr. has emerged.

Per KPRC2’s Aaron Wilson, the Las Vegas Raiders are a “potential destination” for the Arizona Cardinals wide receiver, who also has interest from the Houston Texans.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Saturday that the Cardinals were finalizing a deal to trade Harrison, but it’s still unclear where he’ll be dealt to. Schefter noted that the team has informed Harrison that he’s being traded, and he won’t play against the Detroit Lions on Sunday.

Schefter also reported that the Texans have had trade talks with Arizona about Harrison, but a source said that they “can’t confirm or deny” whether Houston is where Harrison is being traded to.

Harrison, the No. 4 overall pick in 2024, hasn’t started his career the way he hoped. He recorded 885 yards and eight touchdowns as a rookie before notching 608 yards and four touchdowns in 12 games last season.

Through four games in 2026, Harrison has just five receptions for 85 yards and a touchdown. Clearly, the former Ohio State star could use a change of scenery to turn things around.

Houston would be a fitting landing spot for Harrison, who spent two seasons playing with Texans quarterback CJ Stroud while at Ohio State. The Texans could also use some help at receiver after a 0-4 start.

Las Vegas is also eyeing an additional receiver, and adding Harrison would be an affordable option since he’s still on his rookie deal. The Raiders are limited in cap space after a big offseason, but a 3-1 start means it’s worth being aggressive in trades.

It appears a trade centered around Harrison is already on the brink of being finalized, but it’s unclear when the mystery team will be revealed.
