The force was certainly with Hayden Christensen and his daughter at the Chicago Cubs game on Friday.
The “Star Wars” actor and his daughter, Briar Rose, were given a rattling welcome to Wrigley Field on Aug. 15 when they shared a sweet moment singing together at the 7th inning stretch.
As the father-daughter duo down began to sing “Take Me Out to the Ballgame,” a fighter jet unexpectedly flew overhead, sending an overwhelming boom through the stadium.
While Cubs fans appeared to look around and up to discover the cause of the whizzing sensation, Christensen began laughing while continuing to sing beside Briar.
The jet was likely part of the aircraft rehearsing for the annual Chicago’s Air and Water show taking place this weekend at North Avenue Beach along the lakefront near Wrigley Field.
Both Christensen and Briar wore blue Cubs baseball caps, while the actor sported a vintage Chicago jersey donning No. 66 — presumably a nod to “Order 66” from the “Star Wars” franchise. His daughter, meanwhile, wore a classic Cubs pinstriped jersey.
The song was a rare moment between Christensen, who also took the mound Friday to throw out the first pitch of the Cubs-Pittsburgh Pirates matchup, and his daughter. The actor has rarely shared public glimpses into his personal life.

Christensen and ex Rachel Bison welcomed Briar in November 2014. At the time, the pair opened up about their name choice, explaining their daughter was named after Disney’s Sleeping Beauty, who uses the alias to hide her true identity from the evil Maleficent.
The former couple split in September 2017 after a decadelong relationship and have previously been candid about co-parenting Briar.
“We’re still kind of trying to figure it out,” Bison told People in June 2018. “It’s a tricky one. And I don’t know that there is any right way, necessarily.”
She continued, adding that her daughter’s happiness is her top priority.
“Most important for me is that Briar is okay and secure and stable,” she said. “No matter what I’m dealing with or how much it hurts or how much anger there is, it’s just about her.”
