OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) -Omaha police are investigating a shooting that happened early Sunday morning.
Police were called to 42nd and Ames just after 3 a.m.
Officers said the person found at the scene did not have a gunshot wound but had a cut on their cheek. The car they were in had shattered glass and bullet holes.
Police believe someone in another car fired at them. That person then pulled into an NP Mart gas station and called 911.
Police think the shooting took place a few blocks away near Pinkney street.
Police said the victim was taken to the hospital for a blood pressure issue, not an underlying injury. It is unclear if a suspect is in custody.
