One of the brightest stars in women’s basketball is going to grace the pages of the 2027 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, she announced. Azzi Fudd, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2026 WNBA Draft, revealed on her podcast that she modeled for next year’s issue of the iconic magazine.

Fudd dropped the news on a recent episode of her podcast, Fudd Around and Find Out, and shared a behind-the-scenes teaser video of her inaugural SI Swimsuit photoshoot.

The photoshoot went down in Ibiza, Spain, with some of the swimsuit on display along with the beautiful Ibiza sunset.

After dropping the teaser video on her podcast with co-host Ashanti Plummer, she blessed her more 864,000 Instagram followers with another look.

If there is one thing we have learned about Fudd throughout the years, it’s that she is going to bring her A-game. Now, we’ll have to wait until next year to see the photoshoot results, but also to see her return to the court.

Fudd’s rookie campaign was derailed after she underwent arthroscopic surgery on her right knee to address lingering soreness. While Fudd’s season was ended prematurely, she still made an impact.

Fans will anxiously await her return to see what kind of moves Fudd makes in 2027 both on and off the court.
