A rescued tiger gets to listen to the concert of a lifetime, and he absolutely loves the music he gets to hear.

In a video posted to TikTok, Plumes, the singer best known for serenading animals, shared a performance he gave for the sweet tiger at Caresse de Tigre in France. In the video, Plumes sang an acoustic cover of Ariana Grande’s “Just a Little Bit of Your Heart” while he sat in front of the tiger’s habitat. At first, the tiger was apprehensive when he emerged, but he eventually approached the singer.

The tiger seemed to sniff around Plumes out of curiosity before he settled down and lay in front of him. The tiger kept his eyes on him and didn’t look away for the rest of the performance, and Plumes wrote that he was “so attentive” throughout.

People in the comments loved the tender moment between the singer and the tiger, with users writing, “I love it when the animals lie down in front of you to listen ❤️.”

“He sat down like attending a show 🥰,” one person said, while another pointed out that “music can do everything.”

“I absolutely love Plumes ❤️,” another user said. “Amazing person for doing this for all of the animals he visits. I think the animals can sense that he is singing to them because he loves them all. He wants to give them some peace, and it totally works ❤️❤️.”

What Does it Mean When Tigers Chuff?

Just like house cats, tigers and other big cats, such as lions, are known for a unique behavior called chuffing.

According to Planet Tiger on Facebook, “Chuffing is a distinctive vocalization of tigers, characterized by its friendly and non-threatening tone.” The sound is typically “produced by exhaling air through the nostrils while keeping the mouth closed.”

“It is often used as a greeting between tigers, strengthening bonds between a mother and her cubs, between mates, or during peaceful interactions with familiar individuals,” they added. “Chuffing conveys emotions such as relaxation, curiosity, or a desire to reinforce social bonds.”

In the comments on Plumes’ video, many pointed out the chuffing the rescue tiger did while he sang, with one person writing, “Tiger chuffing means contentment.”

“He’s chuffing at you,” another user pointed out. “It’s a noise of greeting from a tiger. A sign of happiness from these beautiful creatures 🥰.”
