Angel Reese and the Atlanta Dream failed to get the job done in the WNBA Finals, losing in the do-or-die Game 7 of the championship series on Saturday night.
The Dream had no answer for Gabby Williams, who exploded for 30 points on 10-of-23 shooting to lead the Golden State Valkyries to a 68-63 win. She also had two steals and four blocks.
No one from Atlanta scored more than 20 points, with Jordin Canada leading the team in scoring with 18 points. Allisha Gray added 16 points and six rebounds, while Reese had eight points, 12 boards and two blocks.
