WEST CHESTER, Pa. (WPVI) — Baldwin’s Book Barn in West Chester has been a treasure-trove of used books since 1946.
Folklore has it that the store is haunted.
Originally a dairy barn built in 1822, the shop is a booklover’s paradise with over 300,000 books on four floors spanning 25,000 square feet.
People from longtime staffers to local paranormal societies have noted strange experiences over the years. Opening hours are 10am to 5:30pm every day except Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day.
