Is it really Halloween if celebrities don’t go all out with their costumes? The spookiest night of the year has come and gone, and everyone from actors and artists to athletes and public figures showed off their looks. Whether it’s an obscure, avant-garde take on a larger concept or a faithful — and playful — transformation into a fellow celebrity, the stars have a knack for dressing up.
Below, Yahoo has rounded up the best Halloween costumes of 2026.
Heidi Klum
The Queen of Halloween went gory for her 25th annual party in New York, arriving as a giant, bloody severed hand. The costume is a replica of her own left hand, complete with red nails, her wedding band and the tattoo of husband Tom Kaulitz’s name. “Hands down, the hardest thing is carrying it,” she told the Associated Press.

Harry Styles went all the way back to the beginning. At the first of his two “Harryween” shows at Madison Square Garden on Friday, the singer, 32, recreated his 2010 X Factor audition, right down to the grey cardigan, yellow scarf and pinned-on audition number. He sang Stevie Wonder’s “Isn’t She Lovely” and told the crowd, “I work in a bakery.” Earlier in the night, he dressed as Elvis Presley, in a white sequined jumpsuit and cape, with Presley’s granddaughter Riley Keough in the crowd.
For the final night of his 30-night residency on Saturday, he dressed as New York’s “Pizza Rat,” in a furry brown suit with a long pink tail and a giant slice of foam pizza. Zoë Kravitz went as a bodega plastic bag.
Paris Hilton and her family
Paris Hilton continued her tradition of dressing up as Britney Spears, this time recreating the pop star’s look in the “I’m a Slave 4 U” music video. Hilton also included her family in this year’s costumes. The Simple Life star, her husband Carter Reum and their two children brought characters from Beauty and the Beast to life. Reum was the Beast, son Phoenix was Lumiere, daughter London was Chip and Hilton was Belle — a decision that garnered backlash online. Those weren’t their only costumes, though: Hilton also dressed up as goth matriarch Morticia Addams, while her hubby and kiddos rounded out the Addams family.
Lily Allen
Ticketmaster… but make it wearable? Lily Allen dressed up as the ticketing platform’s infamous seating map, wearing a matching white puffer and leotard covered with little blue dots. (We can’t get over the “Stage” detail across the collar.) Allen shared her costume on Instagram with the caption, “Never beating the allegations. #bluedotfever.” One fan explained the West End Girl singer’s costume in the comments.
“For anyone who is missing the joke – Lily canceled her Auckland concert due to being sick,” she wrote. “People online said it was because she didn’t sell enough tickets. Geddit now? ”

During Friday’s broadcast, the Today show hosts debuted their transformations for this year’s festivities. Standout costumes included Savannah Guthrie as an old-school news anchor, Al Roker as Gumby and Jenna Bush Hager as Phoebe Buffay from Friends. Our personal favorite? Carson Daly, who dressed up as “Choosin’ Texas” hitmaker Ella Langley. Daly hilariously brought the country darling to life — complete with her signature fringe.
Kim Kardashian
Kim Kardashian doesn’t play when it comes to Halloween. This year, the Skims founder dressed up as someone near and dear to her heart: her daughter North West! From her long, electric-blue hair and piercings to her signature hand-covering-mouth pose, Kardashian was the spitting image of North.
Keke Palmer and her son
Keke Palmer and her son, Leodis, channeled 1995-era Janet Jackson and Michael Jackson from their acclaimed “Scream” music video. Palmer transformed into the “All for You” singer, while 3-year-old Leodis made an adorable King of Pop.
“Another memory with mommy and son! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH BUDDY. ITS SO MUCH FUN PLAYING WITH YOU! You will take over the family business, your way, someday,” Palmer wrote on Instagram. “My SCREAM come true. 🥹🖤”
Owen Thiele and Benito Skinner
They’re going stateside! Overcompensating stars Owen Thiele and Benito Skinner dressed up as PinkPantheress and Zara Larsson from their “Stateside” music video. Thiele transformed into the British R&B singer, while Skinner channeled the Swedish pop girlie. The costars pulled out all the stops — from their impeccable glam to their bedazzled “Stateside” crop tops. Their costume even caught Larsson’s attention: The “Midnight Sun” singer commented “Ateeeee” on the duo’s joint Instagram post.
Lisa Rinna
Kylie Jenner, is that you?! Lisa Rinna transformed into the Khy founder for this year’s festivities. Rinna recreated Jenner’s look from the Marty Supreme premiere in December 2025: a bright orange Chrome Hearts column gown paired with her signature long black locks.
Alex Consani
Calling all Spy Kids fans! This year, model Alex Consani transformed into a Thumb-Thumb, one of the creatures from the 2001 flick starring Daryl Sabara and Alexa PenaVega. In addition to having human-sized thumbs as heads, arms and legs — the memorable henchmen also wore red suits.
Cara Delevingne
Leeloo, is that you? Model Cara Delevingne transformed into Leeloo, the powerful being sent to Earth in the film The Fifth Element. Actress Milla Jovovich famously portrayed the character in the 1997 sci-fi flick.
Liz Gillies
Count on Liz Gillies to make a stellar pop culture reference. The former Nickelodeon star, who’s known for debuting elaborate costumes alongside bestie Ariana Grande, transformed into Luke from Halloweentown.
Serena Page
Love Island USA star Serena Page made the ultimate 2000s Disney Channel reference. Page transformed into Raven-Symoné circa her That’s So Raven era — and even recreated one of the show’s promotional photoshoots.
Troye Sivan
Troye Sivan brought a beloved Disney character to life. The “Party” singer stepped out as Woody from the Toy Story franchise.
Janelle Monáe
For their annual Wondaween Festival in Los Angeles, Janelle Monáe transformed into “Phish Boy,” a fishy sea creature.
“I’m choosing to be courageous and transform,” they said during the event. “How do I get to the next version of Janelle?”
McCall DaPron
McCall DaPron dressed up as Jackie Kennedy. The star of Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange County, which premieres on Nov. 12, her husband, Kirk DaPron and their four children dressed up as the Kennedy family on the day of President John F. Kennedy’s assassination. Despite initially sharing a photo of the costume on Instagram, DaPron deleted the post after facing backlash from commenters.
Karl-Anthony Towns and Jordyn Woods
Winter came early for the newlyweds. The Knicks star and his wife went as “Game of Thrones” villains, with Towns as the Night King and Woods as a White Walker. HBO Max showed how its costume and makeup artists created the looks.
Chlöe Bailey
Chlöe Bailey made “Family Guy” fashionable. The singer dressed as “Hot Meg Griffin,” in a pink top, jean miniskirt, silver boots and Meg’s signature pink hat. Even SZA approved.
Danielle Fishel, Rider Strong and Will Friedle
Thirty-three years later, the “Boy Meets World” stars still fit the part. For a Halloween special of their podcast, “Pod Meets World,” they recreated the costumes they wore for Halloween in 1993, during the show’s first season, as a French maid, the Joker and Batman.
