Let’s go, Bachelor Nation!
Many Bachelor Nation stars have been training for months to run the New York City Marathon and raise money for causes that are important to them.
And this past Sunday was the big day for these Bachelor Nation fan favorites! This year, Joe Amabile ran the marathon for a third time and only 88 days after having brain surgery.
In a video posted after he crossed the finish line, he said, “88 days ago, I was waking up from brain surgery. Today, I finished the New York marathon.” Joe also expressed, “WHAT A DAY! My worst time yet and my greatest accomplishment at the same time.”

Serena Pitt was on the sidelines cheering for him, along with former Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe. And within his carousel of photos, Joe posted a video of Serena crying as she proudly says, “I can’t believe he did it!”
Followers and fellow Bachelor Nation stars filled the comments of Joe’s post, sharing their admiration for his accomplishment. Joe also ran alongside Zac Clark, who just completed his 12th New York City Marathon. He posted his time online and revealed that he qualifies for the Boston Marathon.
He said, “BOSTON QUALIFIED: 3:04:02,” and Joe commented, “BEAST.” Kaitlyn also wrote, “THROAT HURTS FROM SCREAMIN,” to which Zac replied with a red heart. The Bachelor Nation star then shared that his next marathon will be the 20th he’s run, and he’s preparing to race in London.

In addition to Zac and Joe, Matt James also ran the NYC Marathon again and stopped partway through to help a couple reveal the gender of their baby. He captioned the video, “NYC Marathon Gender Reveal 👦🏼🧒🏻🎈”
Former Bachelorette Tayshia Adams completed the NYC Marathon for the fourth time, and Bachelor Nation besties Andrew Spencer and Greg Grippo ran the marathon together. Alexe Godin was on the sidelines cheering them on.

Other Bachelor Nation stars included Peter Cappio, James Clarke, and Julia Rae, who ran for the cystic fibrosis community to help raise awareness.
Katie Thurston, Hannah Ann Sluss, and Olivia Caridi were all on the sidelines cheering on the runners.
How amazing! We are so proud of all our Bachelor Nation stars for working so hard and accomplishing such an incredible feat. Congrats to all the runners!
