Just over a year after capturing its fifth consecutive Olympic gold medal, the United States senior men’s national team will be back in action at the 2025 FIBA AmeriCup.

Team USA enters the tournament ranked No. 1 on the international federation’s most recent world ranking, but the 2025 roster will not feature any members of last year’s Olympic squad. Instead, the team will be comprised of longtime contributors to the program, many of whom have starred in leagues outside of the NBA.

In the 2022 AmeriCup Tournament, Team USA won bronze with a third-place finish. One player from the 2022 roster will return in 2025 as the Americans look to return to the top of the podium.

Here is everything to know about the United States men’s basketball roster at the AmeriCup.

Team USA 2025 AmeriCup roster

Team USA features a diverse roster of players who spent the 2024-25 basketball season playing in leagues across Germany, Greece, Italy, Japan, Turkey, and the United States.

The who’s who of former college basketball stars is headlined by Panathinaikos guard Jerian Grant, 2015 NBA All-Rookie Team selection Langston Galloway, and 2020 second-round pick Jahmi’us Ramsey.

Galloway was among a group of players who helped the senior team prepare for the Paris Olympics in 2024.

Eli Pemberton is the lone returning member of the 2022 team and, along with Galloway, Tyler Cavanaugh and Cam Reynolds, represented Team USA during past World Cup Qualifying windows.

The AmeriCup marks the Team USA debuts for Zach Auguste, Jack Cooley, Jarrell Eddie, Jerian Grant and Speedy Smith.

While the AmeriCup Tournament began in 1980, the United States did not participate in the first three tournaments.

The 2025 tournament will be the 10th time that Team USA participates in the tournament — it has won gold six times, silver once, and did not medal in 2005.
