Georgia volleyball will face every SEC opponent in the upcoming 2025 season as part of a new single-round-robin format adopted by the league. The program released its full schedule last week, outlining a 25-match slate that includes 13 home contests and 11 road trips.
For the first time in conference history, all 16 SEC teams will play one another during the regular season. Georgia’s conference schedule begins Sept. 24 on the road at Tennessee and ends on Nov. 16 at Texas A&M. The Bulldogs will host seven SEC opponents at Stegeman Coliseum, including Florida on Oct. 31 and Texas on Oct. 1, who are one of the sport’s top national programs and a recent addition to the SEC.
The return of the SEC Volleyball Tournament highlights the end of the regular season. The postseason event, which hasn’t been held since 2005, is scheduled for Nov. 21–25 at Enmarket Arena in Savannah.
Georgia opens the season at the Samford Invitational in Birmingham on Aug. 29, with early non-conference opponents including Troy, Duke, Texas Tech and Georgia State. The Bulldogs will host two home tournaments in September, the Classic City Clash and the Bulldog Classic, and make a midweek trip to Clemson for the newly created SEC–ACC “Showdown at the Net” series.
A visit to Georgia Tech on Sept. 19 will renew the Clean, Old-Fashioned Hate rivalry. This year’s match will be played at McCamish Pavilion in Atlanta.
The Bulldogs return nine players from last year’s roster and welcome seven newcomers, including two transfers. Georgia finished 12–14 in 2024, going 6–10 in SEC play. Head coach Tom Black enters his ninth season as head coach.
