Teachers in the Carmichaels Area School District in Greene County have voted to authorize a strike.The Carmichaels Area Education Association said the vote came Monday following an overwhelming “no” vote for a proposed tentative agreement with the district.The union said its plan for now is to return to the classroom.The first day of school in the district is Monday.
