PC&P is an internationally renowned architecture firm headquartered in New Haven and New York City that designs buildings and spaces that inspire and transform communities worldwide. Over the past half century, the firm has established an international reputation as a leading design firm with experience in supertall, commercial, institutional, life science, and performing arts work. The firm has a growing adaptive reuse practice, including iconic Pelli projects.

We are currently seeking Designers with 1-5 years of experience to join our New Haven studio that have interest and some experience in large scale commercial, residential, and institutional projects. The ideal candidates will be proactive with a desire to work in a collaborative team environment to generate creative design solutions.

Responsibilities include:

Collaborating in a design team, developing design concepts, producing drawings and 3D images during all project phases, and translating those into working drawings.
Communicating and coordinating with other disciplines and ensuring incorporation of all information into project requirements.
Incorporating integrated sustainable design solutions into projects.

Specific Requirements:

1-5 years of experience in an architecture office.
Knowledge of Revit, rendering tools such as D5, Rhino, AutoCAD, Office Suite, and Adobe Suite.
Curiosity and experience with AI tools.
Fluency in Grasshopper and Energy Modeling preferred.
Ability to work effectively in a team atmosphere.
Strong design skills.
Collaborate with senior members of the firm to generate design ideas and compelling narratives.
Ability to work on more than one project, with flexibility to assist on projects when needed.
Self-motivated, energetic, and organized with excellent graphic, written, and verbal communication skills, and evolving presentation skills.
Interest in learning about large-scale contemporary corporate office, residential, and institutional projects.
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
