A loan move to Aston Villa followed in the second half of the 2024\/25 season, but Marcus Rashford<\/a> returned to Manchester and found himself facing another career crossroads this summer.<\/p>\n Eventually, Rashford completed a \u2018dream\u2019 Barcelona move<\/a>, with the Spanish side signing him on loan with a \u00a326m buy option. It is up to him to impress and encourage the Catalan giants to sign him permanently.<\/p>\n So far, Rashford was criticised on his debut<\/a>, but his pre-season performances were promising.<\/p>\n Earlier this week, Gary Neville fired a warning to Rashford<\/a>, telling him to focus on his Barcelona career after he made comments towards Manchester United in an interview with Gary Lineker.<\/p>\n Now, Neville\u2019s co-star on The Overlap, Ian Wright, has also warned Rashford that his career is on the line at Barcelona.<\/p>\n \u201cI was very surprised listening to certain people speak about him. This move \u2013 if it doesn\u2019t happen for him now, it\u2019s never going to happen,\u201d Wright said.<\/p>\n \u201cIf you can\u2019t realise that in yourself, that you\u2019re at Barcelona, it\u2019s unbelievable.<\/p>\n \u201cIf that doesn\u2019t wake you up. Sometimes you watch him and it was like he was sleep walking through games. Then another game, he would be on fire. He has to be on fire for this club.<\/p>\n \u201cI was speaking to Thierry [Henry] about what it\u2019s like playing for Barcelona and what fans expect, and he\u2019s going to have to go to another place.
