The actor featured on Vogue\u2019s latest \u201cIn The Bag\u201d episode and gave a detailed look at the items she brings along wherever she goes. Among those was a smelling salts product, with Ortega explaining how it helps her with her mental fog.<\/p>\n

Jenna Ortega reveals what she does to achieve \u2018mental clarity\u2019 and it\u2019s \u2018awkward\u2019<\/p>\n

Jenna Ortega featured on Vogue\u2019s recent \u201cIn The Bag\u201d episode, walking viewers through the items she tends to carry with her. Like most, the actor\u2019s go-to items included the basics, like a wallet, sunglasses, a journal, a book, and more.<\/p>\n

However, one interesting product that the 22-year-old revealed was a bottle of Persephenie Smelling Salts. The \u201cWednesday\u201d star shared that she recently got this item from her makeup artist.<\/p>\n

Ortega added that the smelling salts are meant to help with mental clarity. She candidly stated that using the product is a \u201cbit awkward.\u201d She noted that if people aren\u2019t aware of its usage, they can find it quite \u201csuspicious.\u201d However, the actor continued that it is \u201cjust salts\u201d and shared that it \u201cfeels like a shot of espresso.\u201d<\/p>\n

The \u201cBeetlejuice Beetlejuice\u201d actor further explained why she had been using the product. She revealed that she gets \u201cbrain fog really easily.\u201d Ortega continued, \u201cI get very confused when I\u2019m tired and whatnot.\u201d She then stated that the smelling salts are \u201cactually really beneficial\u201d for her.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, Ortega revealed another interesting item in her bag. She shared she had been carrying a harmonica in her bag as of late. The actor explained that she began practicing as she thought she was going to \u201cneed\u201d it for a job.<\/p>\n

However, she noted that the project ended up going in a \u201cvery different creative direction.\u201d Nonetheless, Jenna Ortega may have added a new skill to her belt. Other items in her bag included a Death Grips hat, headphones, eyedrops, and more.<\/p>\n
