{"id":101305,"date":"2025-08-22T07:34:09","date_gmt":"2025-08-22T07:34:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/101305\/"},"modified":"2025-08-22T07:34:09","modified_gmt":"2025-08-22T07:34:09","slug":"enterprising-bear-fulfills-his-dream-of-managing-an-ice-cream-parlor","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/101305\/","title":{"rendered":"Enterprising Bear Fulfills His Dream Of Managing An Ice Cream Parlor"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-element-index=\"0\">This week, in the early hours of the morning, deputies from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/eldoradosheriff\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">El Dorado County Sheriff\u2019s Office<\/a> were alerted to a situation underway at an ice cream parlor in South Lake Tahoe, California.<\/p>\n<p data-element-index=\"1\">The establishment, which wasn\u2019t scheduled to open yet, appeared to be ready to accept customers \u2014 albeit under surprising new management.<\/p>\n<p data-element-index=\"2\">\u201cThe deputies could barely believe their eyes as they saw a large bear behind the counter of the shop,\u201d the sheriff\u2019s office <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/eldoradosheriff\/posts\/pfbid02LnYNuJEDB6Bkt6mAg1GT5L6PqGbLzjhx2zLV8pxvoKpnWL1gvLVSRJ4t8PYA9fxEl\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">wrote<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p data-element-index=\"3\">This is the sight that greeted them:<\/p>\n<p data-element-index=\"0\">Turns out, a local bear had somehow managed to gain access to the ice cream parlor, where he settled in to enjoy some free frozen treats.
