The Thunder noted the threads are a tribute to the \u201cNative and Indigenous cultures that shape Oklahoma\u2019s identity and community spirit.\u201d Oklahoma has been\u202fhome\u202fto 67 American Indian tribes. The uniforms will \u201cdebut during the franchise\u2019s annual Native American Heritage Night\u201d on Nov. 19 against the Kings. The Thunder uniform will \u201ccoincide with a new alternate court for city night theme games.\u201d Each Friday home game, beginning Dec. 5, will be \u201cdeemed a city night game,\u201d and the team will \u201cwear the City Edition uniforms alongside the court theme\u201d (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nba\/story\/_\/id\/46041450\/oklahoma-city-thunder-2025-26-nba-city-edition-uniforms\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">ESPN.com, 8\/21<\/a>). <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph sections-franchises \">FOR THE KIDS: In Orlando, Jason Beede wrote for the 18th time in franchise history, the Magic\u202fare \u201cdistributing at least\u201d $1M in \u201cgrants to local nonprofit organizations.\u201d The team will \u201cdistribute a record total\u201d of $1.6M through the\u202fOrlando Magic Youth Foundation (OMYF)\u202fthis season with the \u201cfirst set of grants being distributed in surprise visits this week to nonprofit organizations\u201d in Orange, Osceola, Seminole and Volusia counties \u201cassisting at-risk youth in Central Florida.\u201d The grants will be \u201cdistributed through the OMYF in five ways this season; a summer grant cycle, a winter grant cycle, microgrants, the Linda Landman Gonzalez Leadership Grant and through various professional development for grantees\u201d (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.orlandosentinel.com\/2025\/08\/21\/orlando-magic-youth-foundation-omyf-donation-devos-family\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">ORLANDO SENTINEL, 8\/21<\/a>).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"ESPN.com\u2019s Anthony Gharib wrote the Thunder unveiled their \u201clatest City Edition uniforms\u201d on Thursday.
