West Ham United hosted rivals Chelsea at the London Stadium on Friday, looking to bounce back from their 3-0 defeat to Sunderland last weekend.<\/p>\n

However, Graham Potter\u2019s men were unable to, as the Club World Cup winners ran out 5-1 victors. Goals from Joao Pedro, Pedro Neto, Enzo Fernandez, Moises Caicedo and Trevoh Chalobah ensured Chelsea<\/a> secured the win and returned to Stamford Bridge<\/a> with all three points.<\/p>\n

While Estevao Willian<\/a> was unable to get his name on the scoresheet despite having one really good chance in the second half, the winger still had an excellent game and managed to set one record.<\/p>\n

Enzo Maresca<\/a>\u2018s men will be delighted with the win after their own disappointing result on the Premier League<\/a>\u2018s opening weekend. They drew 0-0 with Crystal Palace at home.<\/p>\n

Estevao did not start in the Palace draw and was initially named on the bench at the London Stadium.<\/p>\n

However, after Cole Palmer picked up an injury<\/a> in the warm up, the Brazilian was drafted into the team and did not let down his manager.<\/p>\n

It was Estevao who set up Chelsea\u2019s third goal after he squared the ball to Fernandez. In doing so, the 18-year-old became the youngest ever player to record an assist for the Blues in a Premier League<\/a> fixture.<\/p>\n

Estevao will now be hoping that he has done enough to retain his spot for Chelsea\u2019s next fixture, which is another London derby.<\/p>\n

This time, the Blues will be taking on Fulham at Stamford Bridge<\/a>, their last game before the International break.<\/p>\n

Overall, Estevao put in a really good performance against Potter\u2019s side.<\/p>\n

As per Sofascore<\/a>, on top of his assist, the Brazil international also managed to register one key pass and complete two dribbles. He won five ground duels as well and had 41 touches of the ball in total.<\/p>\n

Chelsea\u2019s win against West Ham saw the Blues achieve something a bit special. Before the game, Chelsea had not topped the table since 2021<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Of course, the Conference League holders and West Ham have now played one more match than everyone else, but it is a step in the right direction.<\/p>\n
