Nick Kyrgios wasn\u2019t involved in Wimbledon this time around, but the 2022 finalist certainly kept a close eye on the action.<\/p>\n

Kyrgios has been impressed by Jannik Sinner<\/a> on the ATP Tour<\/a>, with the Italian representing the latest Wimbledon<\/a> men\u2019s singles champion.<\/p>\n

Sinner defeated Carlos Alcaraz in the latest edition of their exciting rivalry, while Iga Swiatek beat Amanda Anisimova to win the women\u2019s title.<\/p>\n

Kyrgios thinks Swiatek is the US Open favourite<\/a> after her success, with the hard court event representing the fourth and final Grand Slam of 2025.<\/p>\n

The Australian plans to play mixed doubles at the tournament, where he is set to feature alongside Naomi Osaka.<\/p>\n

And doubles was one of the areas tackled by Kyrgios<\/a> as he took on a 20-question challenge for TNT Sports.<\/p>\n

But more significant was his response when asked the question: \u201cIf you had to change one thing about tennis, what would it be?\u201d<\/p>\n

As controversial as ever, he replied: \u201cAt Wimbledon it should be all black instead of all white. I think it would really pop on TV and be a good change up.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

There is, of course, an all-white dress code in place at the All England Club, which doesn\u2019t seem like changing anytime soon.<\/p>\n

Players must wear almost entirely white clothing upon entering the court, with Kyrgios falling foul of that rule in 2022.<\/p>\n

He lost that year\u2019s final to Novak Djokovic, but stole further headlines for wearing red trainers onto Centre Court for his fourth round clash with Brandon Nakashima.<\/p>\n

Kyrgios put the trainers back on after his victory, along with a red cap, which he also donned after losing the final.<\/p>\n

Discussing the consequences of his actions, he said on the Impaulsive podcast<\/a> in 2023: \u201cI wore a red hat and red shoes for the presentation, I got fined I think like almost 10 grand as well.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Kyrgios has played just five ATP singles matches this season, with many fans undoubtedly keen for the talented player to get back onto the court as soon as possible.<\/p>\n

Knee, foot and wrist injuries have plagued him in recent years, while he remains out of action after suffering a recent setback.<\/p>\n

But his comments on the game have fortunately continued, with his tennis \u2018ick\u2019 and his favourite current player to watch also emerging from his latest social media challenge.<\/p>\n

Asked for his biggest tennis ick, he responded: \u201cWhen players take too long to serve between first and second serves, for example Rafael Nadal.\u201d<\/p>\n

And regarding his best friend in tennis, he said: \u201cThanasi Kokkinakis. When we are together we cause some mischief that is for sure.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kyrgios was also asked who he would play doubles with from the Big Four of Novak Djokovic, Nadal, Roger Federer and Andy Murray, to which he replied: \u201cI think Andy Murray was probably the best doubles player of the four of them.\u201d<\/p>\n

And naming his favourite current player to watch, he said: \u201cI really do like Carlos Alcaraz because he has a bit of everyone.<\/p>\n
