Home and Away has revealed two characters are set to return for a major event.\"HomeOne of the River Boys is returning to Home and Away(Image: Channel 5)<\/p>\n

Home and Away<\/a> fans have been left delighted at the news two legends from the soap are set to return.<\/p>\n

Stephen Peacocke, who played The River Boys leader Darryl \u201cBrax\u201d Braxton, and Erica \u201cRicky\u201d Sharpe actress Bonnie Sveen are returning for a major Home and Away event.<\/p>\n

For a one-off special in partnership with Tourism Western Australia<\/a>, the couple are returning since leaving the soap in 2016.<\/p>\n

Ten years later, viewers will find out where life has taken them since they left the Bay.<\/p>\n

Fans know Brax as the charismatic leader of the River Boys, who brought danger and a sense of fierce family loyalty when he first arrived on Home and Away.<\/p>\n

He drove off into the sunset with the love of his life Ricky and their son Casey (named after Brax\u2019s youngest brother who died), after faking his death to escape prison.<\/p>\n

Announcing their return, a statement read: \u201cIn partnership with Tourism Western Australia, a landmark Home and Away event will reveal where life has taken Brax and Ricky since 2016, delivering high-stakes drama and emotional payoffs set against a stunning backdrop of WA\u2019s rugged outback.\u201d<\/p>\n

Stephen shared: \u201cI\u2019ll always be grateful to Home and Away for being the launchpad to my career, and I\u2019ve got a sincere appreciation for the fans who\u2019ve followed my work since.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen the producers asked if I\u2019d revisit Brax, it felt like a fun opportunity \u2013 and one I think the audience will really enjoy.<\/p>\n

\u201cFilming in spectacular outback Western Australia is the icing on the cake, and we can\u2019t wait to welcome one lucky UK fan and their guest onto set with us.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bonnie Sveen added: \u201cBringing Ricky back wasn\u2019t something I\u2019d ever expected, so I\u2019m beyond thrilled to reunite with Steve and old friends at Home and Away.<\/p>\n

\u201cExploring where Ricky and Brax are now, 10 years on, will make for a very special and compelling storyline \u2013 and I can\u2019t wait for our WA filming adventure.\u201d<\/p>\n

Filming begins in October, taking place in various locations across Western Australia. The special episodes will air in 2026 on 5.<\/p>\n
