After teasing her decision to undergo surgery to get rid of her double chin, Teen Mom<\/a> star Kailyn Lowry<\/a> finally went through with the procedure!<\/p>\n

The 33-year-old shared candid footage<\/a> from her surgery to Instagram on Sunday, August 24. \u201cA scrapbook of saying goodbye to my double chin,\u201d she captioned her post.<\/p>\n

Lowry posted videos and photos from inside the operating room, where a physician prepped her face by drawing incision lines on her cheeks, forehead and chin.<\/p>\n

The ‘Teen Mom’ alum was excited to say ‘goodbye’ to her double chin.<\/p>\n

After the surgery was finished, the mom-of-seven shared clips of herself healing. \u201cDay one post-op,\u201d she said in a video of herself eating a microwavable container of mashed potatoes.<\/p>\n

Lowry has spent most of her time resting in bed with her face bandaged. \u201cIf there\u2019s a fire, I can\u2019t run,\u201d she joked about the status of her condition. She also laughed at being told she looked like a \u201cQ-tip.\u201d<\/p>\n

After an undisclosed amount of healing time, the \u201cBarely Famous\u201d podcaster\u2019s facial swelling significantly went down. At the end of her 12-photo Instagram carousel, she shared a snap of herself smiling in the car without her bandages.<\/p>\n

When a fan questioned her in the comments about her double chin returning if she gained weight, Lowry responded by explaining its likelihood.<\/p>\n

\u201cI guess, but what I did was fix genetic problem with jowling and sagging skin. I didn\u2019t have lipo,\u201d the reality TV star said.<\/p>\n

Another observer noted how she could have \u201cjust lost weight\u201d to get rid of her double chin, to which Lowry reiterated, \u201cNo, I couldn\u2019t. It was genetics.\u201d<\/p>\n

One fan suggested Lowry \u201cnever touch her cute nose,\u201d prompting yet another response from her, saying, \u201cThis nose gets me called miss piggy. I really have to fight myself not to touch it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kailyn Lowry said she might have to undergo the same surgery again in 20 years.<\/p>\n

Lowry previously revealed her plans to undergo her double chin surgery earlier this August. Although she didn\u2019t present the exact name of her procedure, she said on her \u201cCoffee Convos<\/a>\u201d podcast that she could potentially \u201cneed another one in 20 years.\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m getting my neck chopped off in two weeks, so I\u2019m, like, sort of waiting to get Botox until after that,\u201d Lowry shared.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m really excited to have a snatched jawline,\u201d she added. \u201cWhat\u2019s weird [is] when I sit up straight, I don\u2019t really have a double chin, right. But it\u2019s the angles that I always have a double chin. Sometimes I have three.\u201d<\/p>\n
