\u201cThe Conjuring\u201d stars Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga weighed in on comedian Matt Rife buying the Connecticut home and museum<\/a> of their real-life characters,\u00a0Ed and Lorraine Warren.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019d love to pick his brain,\u201d Farmiga, 52, told People<\/a> in an interview published Monday, adding that she saw the real estate news that broke earlier this month and sent it to Wilson, 52.<\/p>\n Vera Farmiga, Patrick Wilson in \u201cThe Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It.\u201d AP<\/p>\n Farmiga explained she had been \u201cso curious as to what was going to happen\u201d with the house and wonders what Rife\u2019s \u201cintentions are\u201d in buying it.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s a private little street. There are neighbors everywhere,\u201d Wilson noted. \u201c[The Warrens] lived in the same house for a long, long time, so it\u2019s not like some estate on a massive acreage. It\u2019s just on a block. Matthew McDermott<\/p>\n The home, located in Monroe, Conn.,\u00a0was once owned by the real-life couple who conducted over\u00a03,000 paranormal investigations<\/a>\u00a0that inspired movies like\u00a0\u201cThe Conjuring\u201d<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0\u201cThe Amityville Horror.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n Rife, 29, announced Aug. 1 he bought the house alongside his pal and YouTube star Elton Castee and was the new \u201clegal guardian\u201d of the famed Annabelle doll<\/a>.<\/p>\n However, he did clarify that they don\u2019t have permanent ownership of the 750 haunted artifacts and items in the Warren museum.<\/a><\/p>\n \u201cThe Conjuring films are my favorite scary movies of all time,\u201d the stand-up comic shared on TikTok<\/a>. \u201cSo I\u2019m incredibly honored to have taken over one of the most prominent properties in paranormal history.\u201d<\/p>\n Matt Rife attends a New York Knicks game in Nov. 2023.
