COLUMBUS, Ohio \u2014 Ohio State<\/a> football will not allow Dave Portnoy<\/a>, the founder of Barstool Sports, into Ohio Stadium for the team\u2019s season opener against No. 1 Texas on Saturday, according to a report from Front Office Sports<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Fox Sports and Barstool Sports recently agreed to a partnership that would bring Barstool personalities onto shows such as Big Noon Kickoff<\/a> \u2014 the pregame show before Fox\u2019s top weekly matchup.<\/p>\n

Portnoy, a Michigan graduate and outspoken Wolverine fan, will make his Fox debut on the show this Saturday. But, he won\u2019t be featured at the end of Big Noon Kickoff, which takes place inside the stadium. <\/p>\n

In response to the news, Portnoy shared a photo via X<\/a> of himself wearing a fake mustache.<\/p>\n

Connor Stalions, the now-famous former staffer at the heart of Michigan\u2019s sign-stealing scandal<\/a>, replied to the post saying, \u201cYou need tickets?\u201d<\/p>\n

Ohio State is also banning Barstool Sports in its entirety from campus, per the report.<\/p>\n

As part of the partnership between Barstool and Fox, The Barstool College Football Show was slated to lead into Big Noon Kickoff on numerous occasions.<\/p>\n

This news adds to ongoing tension<\/a> between Ohio State, its fans and Fox. <\/p>\n

The Buckeyes are frequently featured on Big Noon Kickoff, barring major home matchups \u2014 such as this week\u2019s opener vs. Texas \u2014 from taking place at night.<\/p>\n

Former Ohio State linebacker Bobby Carpenter, while speaking on his Columbus-based radio show<\/a> Monday, said Ohio State was \u201cnot all that happy\u201d about the plan to get Portnoy heavily involved in the product.<\/p>\n
