Because you never know what\u2019s going to happen!”<\/p>\n The teaser concludes with a tune-in notice for The View’s return, which is set for Monday, Sept. 8 \u2014 slightly later than recent seasons’ debut dates, which have landed during the first week of September.<\/p>\n Despite going off the air in July for its temporary annual summer hiatus, The View and its cohosts still generated headlines in recent weeks.<\/p>\n Former cohost Rosie O’Donnell<\/a> speculated in early August that, amid growing political pressure, The View might be canceled<\/a>.
