\u201cS.W.A.T.\u201d fans will soon be able to stream all eight seasons of the CBS series on Netflix.<\/p>\n

The action drama\u2019s eighth and final season came to an end in May and has been available to stream on Paramount+. But for those binging \u201cS.W.A.T.\u201d on Netflix, it\u2019s frustrating that season 8 is missing from the streaming platform. Fortunately, season 8 of \u201cS.W.A.T.\u201d will hit Netflix on Monday, September 15.<\/p>\n

\u201cS.W.A.T.\u201d had its ups and downs over the course of its 8-season run. It was originally canceled in May 2023 after six seasons, but CBS walked back the cancelation a few days later. Season 7 was then billed as the show\u2019s final chapter, but it was later renewed for season 8.<\/p>\n

CBS canceled the show yet again in March, and this time, the decision appears to be final. But it\u2019s not the end of the road for \u201cS.W.A.T.\u201d star Shemar Moore<\/a>, who plays Daniel \u201cHondo\u201d Harrelson Jr.; Sony Pictures Television has picked up a spinoff titled \u201cS.W.A.T. Exiles,\u201d<\/a> starring Moore.<\/p>\n

While it initially seemed like Moore would be the only \u201cS.W.A.T.\u201d alum reprising his role in the new show, more OG cast members might be joining <\/a>the project.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere is a \u2018S.W.A.T family,\u2019 and that family is important. We would love to have other family members involved in some way, whether it\u2019s all of them all of the time, some of them some of the time, or something in between,\u201d Keith LeGoy, chairman of Sony Pictures Television, said at the Banff World Media Festival in June, per Deadline<\/a>. \u201cThat\u2019s something that we are still figuring out.\u201d<\/p>\n

It\u2019s still unclear when \u201cS.W.A.T. Exiles\u201d will premiere and what network or streaming platform it will call home. Sony has ordered 10 episodes of the spinoff, and production reportedly began this summer. <\/p>\n

Exiles to life,\u201d Jason Ning, who will serve as showrunner, said at a Sony event in May, per the Hollywood Reporter<\/a>. \u201cIt\u2019s an incredible honor to carry forward the legacy of a show that fans around the world have come to love. Working with Shemar Moore, who defines what it means to be a leading man, and introducing a new generation of characters into this world is a dream.\u201d<\/p>\n

Seasons 1-7 of \u201cS.W.A.T.\u201d are currently streaming on Netflix<\/a>. Season 8 will be available to stream beginning on September 15.<\/p>\n
